On the other hand, since I only have one rice cooker at home, I name the smart plug that controls it rice cooker. Aside from proper naming, I also ensure that my smart home gadgets are arranged by room in the app. That way, I can easily find the controls for a smart device in the app without going through the 20 smart gadgets listed in the app.
